Meet the Doctors

Dr. Paul Silveira studied natural sciences at the University of Anchorage Alaska. He graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1992 and there he was DMD awarded. In January of 1995 he opened up his dental office in Valdez, AK.  Around Valdez he is associated with Bayside Community Church as an elder, Civil Air Patrol squadron commander, and Valdez Airmen's Association past president.

In his time away from the office, Dr. Silveira enjoys spending time with his family, flying, hunting, skate-skiing, and playing his guitar, bass and cello. He also enjoys fishing & boating on the beautiful waters of Prince William Sound.

Dr. Ben Melton attended Union University in Jackson, Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. He then attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center for dental school, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Melton and his wife, who grew up in Palmer, Alaska, love skiing the trails in Valdez and taking their German Shepherd and Goldendoodle on walks.
